This
world is full of surprises, and the stand-up comedy of Chris Doucette
is no exception. Weighing in at 110 pounds and measuring under 5'7",
Chris is living proof that big things really do come in small packages.
From "Rated G" to "Rated Edgy", Chris surprises every
audience by tackling the toughest topics with wit and charm. Chris also
represents the next generation of gay comedians. His audience knows he's
gay and he uses it to full advantage without resorting to stereotypes
or cliches. His humor is current, topical, and completely original. Said
one audience member, "I hate stand-up comedy - but you, you made
me laugh out loud!"
Chris was selected as a feature comic at the Charleston Comedy Festival,
Baltimore Comedy Festival, Baltimore Artscape Festival, and headlined
the Ganymede Arts Festival. Chris has shared the stage with Hal Sparks,
Tony Woods, Judy Gold and Elvira Kurt. He has performed on FOX, NPR, The
Joey Reynolds Show on WOR 710AM, and Comedy Nonsense on WJFK 106.7 FM.
He has appeared in The Washington Post Express, Miami Sun-Sentinel, Metro
Weekly, Next Magazine, and the Village Voice. The blogs love him: he's
